| Steal this and I'll haunt you. I swear. |
Squeezing out ideas from a messed up brain is no joke. Pressure keeps blocking ideas coming in. Looked up to the sky but couldn't form anything with the clouds. I was so close to tearing some of my sketches because they look so horrible. So does the feeling.
But I managed to get some ideas though. Picture above is the proposed cover of my illustration book. Not the final one, still going to change it, but it's going to look pretty much like this. NO STEALING. Please. I beg you.
March is arriving. Which means I have 2 and a half months left before the final presentation. *sobbing at one corner*
I know some of you are going to punch me when I say this, but yeah, I didn't quit my job. Apparently, my boss didn't want me to quit because, like I said, she ken lee tulibudibudouchoo without her designer. We made a deal though, starting 1st March, I'll be working only from 8AM - 12PM and I'll be free to be absent from work whenever heck I want to do my research. Lega lah juga. Because I still need money to pay the bills and final project expenses. Don't hit me. I need money bah sobsobsobbbbbbb.
Went for MUET speaking test on the 23rd and was in a group with 3 gentlemen. I was the only rose among the thorns :)
Candidate A was a 27 year-old shy guy. He got his degree on hold because he hasn't (hadn't, now) take MUET test. Didn't talk much in the quarantine room unless someone asked him. But you see, you can't judge a book by it's cover. He was one with the most ideas and spoke the most fluent during the test. Diam-diam ubi berisi, well, you know, law people. Sigh....
Candidate B was a 19 year-old aspired to become an architect. Currently studying A-levels and already on final semester in Institut Sinaran. Young man with a future that shines so bright.
Candidate C was the most interesting person! A 28 year-old father of a 2 year-old and a 16 days old infant :) When he told me that, my heart melted INSTANTLY to the core. Not to the person -__- but to his situation. He's an architect in an architecture firm in Likas, so he cliqued well with Candidate B. Listening the 2 gentlemen talking about Yayasan Sabah architecture got my mouth shut and brain moving. They said yes, the building IS a landmark to Sabah... But it's a design failure. You see, you can't have a building with all glass window and furthermore it is in Sabah. So not green at all~ Greenhouse effect! (That's what they said). Candidate C was from UTM, an engineering student at first - and then he got out too (because I told them I got out from Matriculation, not dropped out - do not get these two statements wrong) to take architecture. We both agreed that it takes time, and you will have to make loads of wrong turns to finally find out what you really want :3 When I asked him the age of his wife, he paused. Then I was like "Ko ni mati la bah juga umur bini pun lupaaaaaa" he said "Tidaaaakkk. Saya kahwin sama dia time dia umur 23. So 23 seja saya ingat." -His wife stopped aging after they got married. -..- By the way, his wife is 2 years younger. I remember 1 thing he said made me go awwwww was "kalau sudah kahwin ni kan, financially memang tough lah. Tapi soal bahagia tu kan, memang bahagia laaaaahhhh" (with a huge smile ekspresi kebahagiaan melampaui batas jelas terpancar bagai mentari terik pada tengahari.) And then as usual, he asked me to get married early, I said still long way to go, he said that's just mathematically - "kalau jodoh sudah sampai, mana lagi mau tulak kannnn" he said. Oh, he took MUET because he wanted to get a degree in architecture. I talk a lot about him because he talked a lot about himself ok. And furthermore it's interesting! :D
And then there's Candidate D, the owner of this blog. Hahahahahaaa...
The speaking test wasn't good. I got mindblock as soon as I see the question and stuttered a lot. Hahahahahahahaaa... Hopefully the writing test will be good enough to cover up my silly mistakes. Gaaaahhh.
